A House for Dreaming

I saw a house today - it was a house for dreaming. Dreaming of Christmases to come, family to come, friends to feed, barbecues to host, grandchildren to watch over, turkeys to bake, lofts to look over and talk to those below. A dream house. A new start. That's what dreams are made of - newness. Sweet times to be savored, instead of nightmares to be overcome. We have had our shares of the dark shadows of life, it is time for light and life. God meant life to be lived, we have barely eked out an existence in our last few. It is time, and this house is part of that time. The Bible says, "To everything there is a season." It is our season to heal, our season to bask in the sunshine of God's goodness. Our season to dream. And the house we walked through today, is a house for dreaming. The price is dreamy too! But, God will provide a new home, a new castle - He always does.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
